AT-1 Perge, Aspendos, Side -  EURO 60.00 per person
Departure  on March 01, 09:00-17:30

Meet at the registration area and we drive to Perge, an important Pamphilian-Roman settlement with a well preserved stadium. We will also see a Roman Baths Complex, Agora and the main avenue of the city.

We then continue to Greco-Roman city of  Aspendos where we will visit the best preserved Roman theatre in existence. Seljuk Turks who used he structure as a caravanserai then a palace, made constant repairs in this structure.

Our excursion includes lunch and we go to a restaurant near the ruins of Aspendos.

Following lunch, we drive to Side, an important ancient settlement located to the east of Antalya. Side’s name orginates from pomegranate which is widely grown in the area.
Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

AT-2 Termessos and Karain Cave - EURO 60.00 per person
Departure on March 02, 09:00-17:30

We drive to the Psidian city of Termessos which is built on the Taurus Mountains. Resting on top of the Gulluk Mountain, Termessos is one of the most interesting ancient cities of Asia Minor. It has a breathtaking view of the Taurus Mountains which run accross southern Turkey.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, we continue Karain, a cave which dates back to the Paleolithic times. Excavated since 1946, it is the largest inhabited cave in Turkey.
Return to the hotel in the afternoon.

AT-3 Kekova, Myra and St. Nicholas Church - EURO 60.00 per person
Departure on March 03, 08:30-18:00

We spend our day in the ancient region of Lycia. We drive to the city of Myra where we see rock cut tombs for which Lycian region was famous. We also see a well preserved theatre. Myra was the metropolis of Lycia in the early Christian times and it is also associated by St. Paul who visited the city.

We continue our visit with the nearby Church of St. Nicholas who was the bishop of Myra and patron saint of sailors. The church, dedicated to St. Nicholas, dates back to the 8th C and there are traces of an earlier structure dating back to 6th C.

Following lunch at a local restaurant, we continue driving to Üçağız where we take a motorboat tour over the sunken city on the Kekova Island.
Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

AT-4 Antalya City Center and Antalya Museum - EURO 50.00 per person
Departure on March 04, 09:00-17:30

We drive to Antalya Museum located in the center of Antalya.  In this museum, artifacts from various ancient settlements are displayed.

We then continue to the old center of Antalya which is named ‘Kaleici’. We see traditional Turkish wooden houses surrounded by old city walls. We explore narrow streets and the bazaars of this beautiful little town.

Return to the hotel in the afternoon.
